Sir Karon Rakmar is a well-known figure in the court intrigues at Castle Martell in Sanctuary. A shrewd and enterprising opportunist, Karon Rakmar is a handsome and powerful looking man in his mid-to-late fifties with a full head of silver hair and impeccable taste in clothing. In public, he presents himself as a politically astute and socially active paladin of Selune. However, according to Snively, rumor has it that Rakmar is particularly adept at pushing and pulling levers behind the scenes through a mix of blackmail, coercion, and influence, while somehow always avoiding being caught.
An extraordinarily vain man, he always attends each court event with a new exotic looking companion, each stunningly beautiful — faintly foreign with their long dark hair and green eyes, while also being incredibly interested and curious in the discussions of those around them. Strangely, Rakmar never brings the same companion again, nor are they ever seen in Sanctuary before or after the event they attend.
Based on information from both Nymra and Snively, the party suspects that he is the link to the doppelganger who has been spying on them and impersonating Captain Darevan and others.
