Tosser’s Square

North and west of the Waterfront and higher on the land in the second ring is Tosser’s Square, a large active market place where tradesfolk and traveling merchants sell their goods and offer services. At the center of the square is a large stone fountain with several figures depicting a kingly looking dwarf on a throne and three other dwarves bearing kegs surrounding him, water shooting out of the spigots into the pool below. The  fountain honors Darg Tosser, an early dwarf beer and ale merchant who opened the first bar on the island. Once a year, the water in the fountain is magically turned to ale and the town celebrates in a raucous party.
